criteria		 Summary: In this article the analysis of 6 forest machine systems for short-length technology is given, and the limitations of their effective use are discovered. Principal characteristics of technology use are shown, the advantages and disadvantages are indicated. The scheme to search the efficient application of forest machine systems in different conditions is offered.
