types of marriage		 Summary: The most significant part of coniferous sawn timber materials (logs) of the North-West Federal District supplied to the domestic market of the country. Given the need to improve the efficiency of logging companies, one of the most important areas of work in this area is the need to improve the quality of logs that can be achieved at the expense of his marriage. The subject of the study was the quality of sawlogs in its determination at sawmill North-West Russia for acceptance during the period from 2007 to 2011. According to the results of studies obtained different grades of logs (total volume of marriage, the distribution by type of marriage, by years of supply). The results of research show that the logging companies in the North-West Federal District has the opportunity to improve the quality of logs at the expense of his marriage.
