The use of overcooled plasma at cultivation of seed potatoes

potato		 Summary: In this paper we present preliminary results of the effect of water treated by overcooled plasma on the development of seed potatoes «Golubizna». Plants were grown in vitro on artificial nutrient medium «Murashige-Skoog» for twenty days, and then they were planted in vermiculite. The plants root system was kept in water treated and non-treated by overcooled plasma before planting. Exposure was 30 and 60 minutes in both cases. Efficacy was evaluated by the length of stems growth and the number of leaves. The results showed an increase in stem length and leaves number of meristem plants by more than 40 % when their root system had been kept in water treated by overcooled plasma. The data obtained suggest that further research is needed in this direction.
