Summary: The authors proposed technical solution in the form of a container for collection, temporary storage and transportation of mercury-containing energy saving lamps and battery cells at home. This decision relates to a device for the storage and transportation of defective products, damage to, or destruction of which causes environmental pollution. Such products are unsuitable for further exploitation of energy-saving fluorescent and fluorescent lamps, mercury thermometers and battery cells, which is a waste of high toxicity due to possible environmental pollution caused by mercury contained in these products, related to the waste hazard class 1 – extremely hazardous waste. These products require special treatment: the collection, storage, transportation and disposal of The article provides an overview of the different types of containers for collection, storage and transportation of spent mercury-containing household devices, describes how the formula proposed by the authors of the utility model container, its features, the technical result from the use.
