technological schemes		 Summary: At the present time across a network of railways of Russia remains urgent a problem removing un-wanted of trees and shrubs in the strip withdrawal pathways the general and non-general use. The undeniable negative consequences the presence of unwanted vegetation on the objects of the railway infrastructure is the need for measures to prevent and eradicate the appearance of higher plants in order to ensure for uninter-ruptible and secure of the transportation process as a whole. The mechanical method that takes until now more than 50% of the total volume of work on cleaning railways, provides two main directions for the removal of trees and shrubs: the separate removal of aboveground plant parts and root, and removing vegetation growing along with the roots. The paper discusses the existing and proposed perspective technological schemes and processes of work to remove unwanted trees and shrubs to the strip withdrawal of railways. Based on the analysis of work processes identified strengths and weaknesses of removing vegetation forestry crusher and brush cutters, as well as machines with ma-nipulator, on the free end of which are located the cutting head. Separately is provided engineering process to remove unwanted vegetation working body controlled by articu-lated telescopic arm or multifunction machines on combined (road and rail) course. The investigated possibility of using existing and prospective technological processes in view of the current regulatory documents of JSC «Russian Railways». The conclusion about the need to develop a system of machines, allows improving the quality of the work / services in the field of detention land the strip withdrawal on operational infra-structure facilities of JSC «Russian Railways» and reduce costs at the expense of a more complete and efficient use of machines and mechanisms
