Summary: The article describes the results of the technical and economic comparison of the enclosing structures of the walls of social facilities and the technologies for their production in relation to the conditions of the Republic of Karelia. Particular attention is paid to structures and technologies with the use of brick walls and blocks of lightweight concrete and composite materials as the main material. The study examined brick walls and walls from aerocrete and arbolitic blocks with various options for insulation and cladding. As a result of comparisons in terms of technological and economic indicators, the most effective wall construction variants for social purpose objects for the northern conditions of the Republic of Karelia.
